These terms cover your use of PromptLab, a free AI prompt engineering workspace built by Genesis Vault. By using PromptLab, you agree to the terms below.

What PromptLab is

PromptLab is a browser-based tool for writing, testing, comparing, and refining prompts for large language models (Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, and other models available through OpenRouter). It runs client-side — your browser talks directly to OpenRouter using your own API key.

Bring your own key

PromptLab requires you to supply your own OpenRouter API key. You are responsible for your OpenRouter account, its associated costs, and compliance with OpenRouter's own terms of service and usage policies. Genesis Vault does not bill you, mark up usage, or act as an intermediary for payment.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use PromptLab to generate content that is illegal, that infringes on others' rights, or that violates the acceptable use policies of OpenRouter or the underlying model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.). You are solely responsible for the prompts you write and the outputs you generate.

No warranty

PromptLab is provided as-is, free of charge. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of AI-generated output, or fitness for any particular purpose. Model outputs are generated by third-party providers and may be inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for your use case — review everything before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

Genesis Vault and PromptLab are not liable for any damages, costs, or losses arising from your use of the tool, including but not limited to API charges billed by OpenRouter or losses from acting on AI-generated content.

Changes to the service

Features, templates, and functionality may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice, since PromptLab is an actively developed tool.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the "last updated" date above will reflect it. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
